Make Up/ Cancellation policy

When a student misses a class, he or she is eligible to do one make-up class per session during Open Gym time which is offered sporadically throughout the year.  If you choose to do a make up class on another day, please email to make arrangements.

Please check the Rise website and social media sites for  unforeseen cancellations.

Rise Gymnastics does not follow school closings for holidays or special events.   Make-ups for inclement weather closings will be given at Rise Gymnastics' discretion.

Spectator Policy

Due to insurance restrictions, no one is allowed in the training area before class without an instructor.  This includes the upstairs balcony.  Siblings and friends that are not enrolled in class must remain in the lobby or seated spectator areas and must be supervised by an adult.  Parents are allowed in the viewing areas during class times.  The locker room in the training area is reserved for Rec 1, 2, Advanced and Competitive teams only.   All Preschool, PreK/JK/kinder and Parent and tot classes are to use the designated preschool cubby area located by the restrooms to store belongings and get ready for class.   When class is over, gymnasts must leave the training area. The instructor will need to start the next class and cannot be held responsible to supervise.

Annual Registration

Rise Gymnastics has open enrollment, which offers the ability to register at anytime.   There is an annual membership fee of $30 per gymnast with a $50 max per family.  Registration fees cover administrative costs and secondary insurance for the year.   Registration memberships are due annually in the fall.  If your child does not enroll for fall session, registration is due prior to session child is enrolled in.

Dress Code

Girls: A leotard or unitard, no skirts attached, allow for the best instruction possible. If a leotard is not available, a form-fitting t-shirt and shorts/leggings will work. No jewelry allowed (stud earrings are permitted). Hair should be tied back in a secure ponytail, braids or bun prior to every class.
Boys: shorts and a t-shirt/tank top allow for the best instruction possible. Clothes should be free of zippers and multiple buttons and should be tight-fitting. Baggy clothes will get in the way and prevent coaches from being able to adequately spot skills. Long hair must be tied back.
